SPORE

COLAB Theatre presents SPORE, a new immersive, interactive horror experience opening at COLAB, 123 Grays Inn Road, London, from Saturday 17 October 2026. Staged across six floors of a decayed former dental school, audiences of up to 30 are plunged into a quarantined outbreak where an intelligent fungal network has begun to communicate.

A forgotten dental school has been reopened for redevelopment. Beneath its anatomy labs, something has been growing — an organism that speaks through bone conduction, X-ray interference and living tissue. The military wants containment. A rogue scientist wants contact. Your team has ninety minutes to gather samples, decode its message, and decide what happens next — before the spores decide for you.

Blending live performance with hands-on interaction, participants place beacon transmitters, translate a fungal language from notes and specimen slides, recover evidence, and come face to face with those already altered by the growth. Every choice pushes the outbreak toward one of several endings: study it, contain it, or destroy it.

Built as a sprawling, site-specific world, SPORE moves audiences through six floors of corridors, sealed offices and infected labs, lit by cold task lighting and thick with haze and a bone-drill soundscape. The experience runs for 90 minutes and is suitable for ages 13 and over when accompanied by an adult.

Performances run at 7pm and 9pm, with tickets priced at £38.50 (including a £3.50 booking fee). Drinks are provided as part of the experience. Booking is now open.
